Wood Retro-Style QMK/VIA Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
In a world of plastic peripherals, the Wood QMK/VIA Mechanical Keyboard brings a refreshing, artisanal touch to my home office setup. I spent a week testing its wireless connectivity and customizable firmware to see if its beauty was more than just skin deep.
Performance & Build Quality
The keyboard feels incredibly sturdy, utilizing quality wood that offers a warmer, more substantial feel than standard synthetic decks. The mechanical switches provide a crisp, satisfying response that holds up well under long typing sessions, making it clear that durability was a priority in its construction.
Day-to-Day Experience
Integrating the keyboard into my multi-device workflow was seamless thanks to its reliable wireless connectivity. While the QMK/VIA software has a slight learning curve, the ability to fully remap keys and adjust the RGB lighting allows for a highly personalized workspace that feels tailored to my specific needs.
This is the perfect choice for professionals or hobbyists who want a premium, aesthetically pleasing keyboard that doesn't sacrifice modern technical functionality.
